Welcome to Sawdust Silhouettes—where craftsmanship meets heart, and every piece tells a story. The name Sawdust Silhouettes comes from my childhood, where I’d sit beneath my Papa’s workbench in his garage, watching him work while making little creations of my own from sawdust and water. Then I would pop inside to watch my Grandma paint all the trinkets to sell at the church craft fairs. That early spark of imagination now fuels everything I create—from custom decor to one-of-a-kind gifts—with quality, care, and purpose.

I graduated from nursing school in 2003 and spent more than 15 years working as an intensive care nurse, where I learned the value of precision, dedication, and care. After starting our family, I chose to step away from healthcare to focus on raising our children and embracing a lifelong passion for creativity. In 2020, I founded Sawdust Silhouettes, a small business rooted in handcrafted, meaningful design.

I’m a proud mother of two elementary school-aged children, wife to a retired Air Force member, and pet mom to two fur babies. Family and service are at the heart of everything I do, and it’s an honor to bring that same heart into each piece I craft for you.
